The may bug gets its name from the month it appears the most. The grub of this insect eats grass roots voraciously and it not desired by gardeners. The graphic art from an antique German tin children\'s toy box from the 1930\'s. Often the box art was much more enjoyable than the toy inside. This box was printed in French and English for export purposes.
